Pastor Doug Barger

Elder / Pastor and founding minister of Christ Reformed Baptist Church.

Pastor Doug is the founding minister of Christ Reformed Baptist Church. He has served the churches of Jesus Christ within Indiana in various capacities over the last 21 years following his conversion in 2001 at his home church, the Bible Study Chapel in Indianapolis. Practical ministry experience has included Associate Pastor/Bible Teacher, Church Treasurer, and Director of Men’s Ministry.

By God’s providence, Pastor Doug was saved under the ministry of the Bible Study Chapel. Doug was ordained as a Baptist minister in 2006 under the authority of his home church, Bible Study Chapel of Indianapolis, where he was blessed to serve as Associate Pastor alongside Pastor Cleve Morton. Doug ministered by teaching and preaching with regular involvement in church leadership.

In 2010, Doug and his family moved to Knightstown, in Henry County, Indiana. In 2015, with the endorsement and oversight of the Bible Study Chapel, Doug aided in the organizing and constituting of Christ Reformed Baptist Church of New Castle, where he currently serves.
